At Carousel we recognise that leaving your child in our hands is one of the biggest decisions you can ever make. We place huge emphasis on ensuring that you feel confident and secure in the knowledge that your child will be looked after to the exacting standards you expect.
Our Outstanding OFSTED and the parental feedback we receive are testament to the fact that your child will not only be educated but most importantly nurtured and developed within our supporting family environment.
We will endeavour to develop our partnership with you from the first contact. You will be invited to come in and register your child and meet your child’s key person. This is not a hurried process we encourage you to spend as much time as you want settling your child, getting to know the people who will be caring for your child and sharing as much information about your child as you can.
Following on from the initial meeting we support a flexible approach to settling in . We will adapt this process to your needs and to your child’s needs. Once you are fully confident in leaving your child with us and your child is happy and settled we will continue our partnership with you through a variety of other means.
Our Facebook page and website are a good source of up to date information. But we know that the feedback you need to much more personal than that and so we have developed a number of strategies to keep you up to date with your child’s progress and development.
Apart from collection and dropping off times, your key person will work with you developing a close relationship. This is achieved through, parent key person evenings, Learning Journey sessions; open mornings; home setting books; Parent information evenings; play and stay sessions; 2 year old check sessions and through newsletters.
Twice a term we hold parent forum meetings where we invite you to become stakeholders in the development of the nursery.
Throughout your time with us we will keep you up to date about your child’s progress and development. We have an open door policy and welcome parents to come in and stay and play whenever they can.
