Funding
From April 2024 all eligible 2-year-olds will be able to claim 15 hours of free nursery care. They must turn 2 before the 31st March. This is for 38 weeks of the year.
All 3- and 4-year-old children can claim up to 15 hours of Government funding per week for 38 weeks per year. This starts the term AFTER their 3rd birthday. Some children will be eligible for an additional 15 hours (extended hours) bringing their total funded hours to 30 per week for 38 weeks of the year.
At Carousel, we realise that most parents require their children to attend all year round and therefore we “stretch” your child’s funding so they can access their 15 hours or 30 hours ALL year round.
We do offer a few term time-only places, but these are restricted and offered on a term-by-term basis and on a first-come first served basis.
From September 2024 ALL children 9 months and over will be able to access 15 hours of funding.

Additional Information
Our stand-alone hourly rate is £8 per hour.
Early birds (breakfast club) 7.30-8am is £4
Meals are not compulsory but if taken will be charged at £3.50 for lunch. Tea is £2.75
Please note that the provision fee for fully funded places is £3 per session. A session is either a morning or an afternoon. This fee is charged to cover snack, consumables, and forest school insurance. The funding we receive does not cover these items.
